Crossworx is closing a big gap in its portfolio with the LITE 290 in 2023, providing the perfect tool for those who don’t want to be over-armed on their home trails. This trail bike makes it easy to climb up hills, and when it comes to downhill, you’ll play with the trail and all its features like a cat with a mouse. The LITE 290 impresses with its sturdy and freely configurable equipment, made in Germany, all at a reasonable price.

The Crossworx Dash290 is an enduro to hold pure: One of the plus points of the Dash with 27.5″ wheels was the nimble cornering, so the Crossworx Dash290 invites you into even wilder terrain. Crossworx is a still quite young frame manufacture from Germany, which has made it its philosophy to manufacture their
Frames completely and to 100 percent in Germany. The Dash29 frame is made of aluminum and, as you might expect, rolls on
29-inchers. The rear generates 155 millimeters of smooth travel.

Test result: Very good

With a highly agile and maneuverable character, the Dash 27.5″ will appeal to riders with a pronounced play instinct. The 170/160 mm suspension also performs top. Uphill, the higher weight is a bit annoying, the extremely steep seat angle is a matter of taste.

The Crossworx Dash is the first Enduro-Fully of the small Thuringian bike brand Crossworx Cycles, which makes a direct start to measure. The chic aluminum bike not only stands out positively with its appealing lines and the sophisticated rear end design, but can also convince with excellent handling characteristics. Especially the sensitive rear end, which generates a lot of traction and smoothness, could inspire us. If you’re looking for a German-made enduro bike that you don’t see on every corner, the Crossworx Dash is a hot new candidate to choose from.

For us, the CrossWorx CW Zero One is an optimal bike for longer tours, fun home laps or people who want to once again hone their riding technique in technical terrain. The bike is a kind of all-round carefree package that convinces with thoughtful geometry, coherent component selection and clever detail solutions. The desired goal to keep the driver more on the trail than in the workshop, the CW Zero One fully meets!

With the CrossWorx CW Zero One, the Thuringian bike forge presents a more than successful debut: The well thought-out equipment with its component mix from the entry-level to mid-priced segment is absolutely ready for the trail – the price-performance ratio is also absolutely fine for the small quantities. The very downhill-heavy geometry makes the CW Zero One a real trail rocket without limiting touring suitability too much. Our only downer is the maximum chainring size of 32 teeth.
