The heart of our PACE290 is the rear suspension with 160 mm of travel, which delivers impressive traction thanks to a 230 x 65 mm shock. Whether on steep climbs or fast descents, the sensitive rear suspension ensures maximum grip and control on any terrain.
Steep seattube angle, low bottom bracket, low center of gravity
Our genes and experiences from recent years on bikes and race tracks around the world have also been directly incorporated into the development of our e-MTB. Over the past 1.5 years, we have developed an e-bike that unmistakably bears our signature. Fine milling marks, a timeless and modern design, and a steep seattube angle that you will love us for when riding uphill!

Like all of our bikes, the PACE features internal cable routing for a clean and tidy look. The cables disappear discreetly into the down tube.
This is even more important for an e-bike – we offer our PACE as a frame kit and make cable routing as easy as possible.

Bosch Performance Line CX

An e-MTB is only as good as its drive unit – and with the revised Bosch Performance Line CX motor, the PACE290 features one of the most powerful systems on the market.
Whether you’re tackling fast descents, technical climbs, or relaxed rides after work:
with up to 750 watts of peak power and 100 Nm of torque, the motor will take you up any mountain with power and control.
Uphill with thrust, downhill with flow – the PACE290 ensures real trail fun.
Bosch PowerMore Unit 250Wh
With an efficient 600Wh PowerTube in the down tube, you can confidently treat yourself to up to 1000 meters of elevation gain.
If you want to go longer on the weekend, you can get an additional 250Wh from the PowerMore unit placed in front of the shock or alternatively mount a second water bottle.
For the second round, you can also get an additional battery and simply swap it out. To charge the batteries, simply take them into your warm home without having to bring the whole bike inside. The 3D-printed battery cover can be easily removed for this purpose.
Progressive rear suspension
New kinematics, proven concept – further developed for full power
With the PACE290, we are once again relying on our preferred rear suspension layout: the supported single pivot. But this time, we have significantly refined the concept.
The biggest innovation: the linkage has been “reversed” compared to our Dash and Lite models – instead of pulling, it now pushes. This reduces the load on the bearings, increases torsional stiffness, and makes the system even better suited to the high forces of an e-MTB – without adding unnecessary weight.
Thanks to the space-optimized linkage, there is additional room for more sensitive coil shocks – ideal for riders who value maximum performance and sensitive response.
including a Sag Indicator
The PACE290 is packed with clever details.
Take our sag indicator on the rocker arm, for example. It makes it easier for you to set up your suspension. The position of the linkage to the pushrod shows you the current sag on the rear triangle. All linkages and bearings remain easily accessible.
With our double-sealed bearings, you’ll continue to enjoy the PACE even after many hours in the saddle.

FAQ
Which bottle holders can be used on the PACE290?
Especially with a range extender or a second battery, you’ll be on the saddle for a long time. That’s why we’ve equipped the TRIP with two bottle holder options. You have the option to attach a bottle holder to the underside of the top tube or position a 450 ml bottle in front of the shock absorber, or alternatively place the range extender there.
Please note: Due to its size, a range extender cannot be installed on frame size M. In this case, we recommend using a spare battery for longer trips.
What does the Radiant Raw color mean?
Frames in Radiant Raw color are really raw, without clear coating.
The raw material may contain minor imperfections, which result of the production process of our supplier.
After welding, we use steel wool to finish our frames. This helps to remove small scratches that can occur during our production process. Since this needs almost some time, we have decided to make no difference in the price of our raw frames.
Of course, you can’t get every scratch out of the raw material. But because of this small imperfections the frame is not less valuable or should be sorted out for that reason. It would be very contrary to our idea of sustainability.
By the way : After a season full of riding, you can use some steel wool to finish the frame again. With new decals on, the frame looks shiny and new again!

How does the geometry change with a mullet setup?
The geometry of mullet bikes does not change fundamentally. For a mullet setup (27.5″ rear wheel), we use a 27.5″ chainstays, which are only 20 mm shorter in chainstay length.
The remaining angles are compensated for by the shorter rear triangle. Therefore, you can also refer to the corresponding values in the geometry table for the geometry. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us.
