Riding pleasure and suitability for your everyday use
The CrossWorx ZERO290 Hardtail is your best friend, no matter which way you choose. Bunnyhops here, wheelies there, whether stair set or dirt jumps, it’s all about fun on your ZERO290! By the way, this also works on your daily way to the office, you just have to do it!
Angled and welded together
Clean lines connect both front and rear frame triangle. With low bottom bracket and sharp angles at head tube and seat tube. This brings a upright and central seating position, optimal power transmission and maximum control on technical trails. The steeply sloping top tube provides freedom of movement on the trail and enough legroom in the urban jungle, even for the girls among us.
Clean look and maximum protection
Straight lines for dropper post and cable housing for the brakes without any detours: the straight guidance of the houses is routed internally on your new ZERO290. Together with the evenly scaled welds, this results in a look that is just bursting with power and energy. The ZERO290 is ready for you, and the next trail!
With large tire clearance
The already high stiffness at the rear is additionally reinforced by the 12 x 148mm thru axle. With up to 2.6″ wide tires on 29″ wheels the ZERO290 comes even in tough terrain confidently to the goal. On smaller 27.5″ wheels, the rear swallows a whopping 2.8″ tires.

FAQ
What does the Radiant Raw color mean?
Frames in Radiant Raw color are really raw, without clear coating.
The raw material may contain minor imperfections, which result of the production process of our supplier.
After welding, we use steel wool to finish our frames. This helps to remove small scratches that can occur during our production process. Since this needs almost some time, we have decided to make no difference in the price of our raw frames.
Of course, you can’t get every scratch out of the raw material. But because of this small imperfections the frame is not less valuable or should be sorted out for that reason. It would be very contrary to our idea of sustainability.
By the way : After a season full of riding, you can use some steel wool to finish the frame again. With new decals on, the frame looks shiny and new again!
Can I get the frame without decals?
Currently we only use standard decals. You can apply all decals by yourself if you want to. Just tell us and we send you Decals + gluing instructions separately! Applying decals by yourself is no big deal either.
Can I ride the Zero with full 27.5" wheels?
We recommend the CrossWorx ZERO290 for 29″ wheels if you want to go for 2,4″ or smaller tires, because the Zero is designed accordingly for this wheelsize.
The BB Drop would drop lower then designed with a full 27.5″ wheelset, so that it may can disturb while pedalling.
Due to the larger circumference of 27.5 “+ tires a build with 650b plus definitely works.
Is it possible to build a Mullet Zero version?
The 27.5″ rear wheel would lower the bottom bracket a little further and reduce the steering angle. We have built up some Mullet Zeros. Even if we do not officially recommend it ourselves, there is only positive feedback from customers who already ride the Zero Mullet. If you need help, just write us an email! We are here to help.
