Aluminium-Gravel-frame

Discover the heart of our RIDE280 – a lovely  designed & built and of course robust aluminum frame.
Our RIDE280 aluminum frame offers the perfect combination of flexibility and high durability and reliability.

So this one is perfect for your gravel rides, adventures and any kind of trails.

Comfort & Safety

We definitely have our roots in MTB, so we have chosen the option of suspension forks up to 50 mm
travel at the front.
But of course there is also the possibility to install a rigid fork.
We will offer our RIDE with a Sour Business Carbon Fork as well.

However, suspension at the front can provide more reserves in demanding terrain and at the same time
allows you higher speeds. We’ve tested it and are
really happy with it.

Clean look and maximum power transmission

On a gravel bike comfort and a comfortable position on the bike is very important, especially on longer adventure and gravel rides.
While developing our RIDE we have found the perfect compromise between optimum riding comfort and off-road capability, for example the RIDE has a seat angle of 74 °.

FM160 Directmount

Our CrossWorx RIDE280 offers the advantage of a Direct Mount disc mount with 160 mm diameter. This results in optimal braking performance, especially in challenging terrain. With this configuration, you always have full control of your gravel bike, even in difficult situations. Always stay relaxed on the steepest descents or technical trails.

700" x 50 mm | 28" x 50 mm

Our RIDE was specifically designed for generous tire clearance. With the option of tire widths up to 700″ x 50 mm, you get the comfort you want and won’t be slowed down by insufficient tire clearance even in the most demanding conditions. No matter what adventure you’re tackling, our RIDE has enough room for wide tires so you can enjoy the ride without restriction.

worldwide spare parts availability

Our RIDE is prepared for a transmission gear.
Thanks to the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) system you can be sure that you always find spare parts for your bikes out there, even in the most remote bikeshops.
So you can fully concentrate on your adventures without having to worry about the availability of spare parts.

3 bottle cages

A gravel bike must also be suitable for bikepacking. With a total of 6 bottle cage holes, the CrossWorx RIDE280 offers countless mounting options for water bottles, tools and bags. There are no limits to the variety.

FAQ

What does the Radiant Raw colour mean?

Frames in Radiant Raw color are really raw, without clear coating.

The raw material may contain minor imperfections, which result of the production process of our supplier.

After welding, we use steel wool to finish our frames. This helps to remove small scratches that can occur during our production process. Since this needs almost some time, we have decided to make no difference in the price of our raw frames.

Of course, you can’t get every scratch out of the raw material. But because of this small imperfections the frame is not less valuable or should be sorted out for that reason. It would be very contrary to our idea of sustainability.

By the way : After a season full of riding, you can use some steel wool to finish the frame again. With new decals on, the frame looks shiny and new again!

Can I get the frame with just the decals separately to stick on myself?

Currently we only use standard decals – all decals can be enclosed with the corresponding gluing instructions. Then you can glue the decals if you want.

Can I ride the RIDE with 27,5" wheels?

We recommend the assembly on 28″ wheels. Nevertheless, a setup on 650b is equally possible.

Can you ride the RIDE also with rigid fork?

Naturally! Our CrossWorx RIDE280 is optimized for an installation length of 413 mm. Can therefore also be driven with a rigid fork. We also offer this setup in our configurator.

Nevertheless, we are sure that a 40 mm / 50 mm suspension fork at the front will provide you with an additional benefit and makes your life easier.
